Coopers is a specialist Technology College. This supports our innovative work, using Technology to action what is relevant to the needs of young people now, enabling them to
manage and meet the challenges of our rapidly changing times.
Our College is focused on raising the aspirations and expectations of all. We want students to be aware of their potential and develop to be confident young adults.
We have an exciting opportunity which
we are making available for Years 7, 8
and 9 during the Easter holidays from
Friday 9 April – Monday 12 April. We
have provisionally booked 100 places at
an Activity Centre at Marchant’s Hill,
Hindhead, Surrey.
The cost of the trip will be £150 per
child and this will include all transport,
accommodation, food and activities for
the weekend. Some of the activities
available are abseiling, climbing,
orienteering, zip wire and many more.
As we only have 100 places available we
must work on a first come first served
basis. If your child would like to take
advantage of one of these places,
please return the slip and we will advise
you if your child has been successful.
The votes have been counted and
verified and our Bromley Youth Councillors
are…
Daniel Winter and Naomi Francis
They have both worked really hard and
are both standing as candidates for the
UK Youth Parliament.
Each Student that
wishes to run can
pay £1 to take part in the Mile. All
students will register in their form rooms
from 14:00 til 14:10. During this time
each group will be given the opportunity
to get dressed up in as much red for
Sport Relief as they please. Getting
dressed up to take part is optional.
Lessons will be slightly shortened through
the day to accommodate the Sport Relief
Mile. When each year group has
completed the Mile they will return to
their designated form rooms to collect
their belongings and be dismissed.
Students will have the option to going
home at 3pm or as they finish the Mile or
they can stay and watch the Staff Football
Match. The Staff football match will
follow the Sport Relief Mile on the Friday
causing no disruption to Teaching and
Learning. There will be no cancellation of
extra curricular events.
